Situation:
ORSCO (Pty) Ltd was appointed by civil engineering company to map bedrock profile in the area as well to locate the pipe in the Pretoria area.
Solution:
ORSCO undertook the ‘challenge’ as the area is known for having difficult surface terrain as well as difficult shallow underground geology. The survey was done using Sensors & Software GPR system Noggin 250.
After a few meters of scanning ORSCO not only mapped the bedrock profile in the area but located the trench with the pipe in it.
