CCTV pipe inspection cameras allow our technicians to video inspect the inside of failing sewer and drain pipes and record the inspection for reporting purposes. Using these cameras we are able to identify problem areas like cracks, breaks and blockages with out damaging the pipe. The camera are inserted through man holes, inspection eyes and other available access points.
We have two types or CCTV drain inspection camera systems that we use:
A push camera is made up of a fibreglass push rod up to 100 meters long with a full colour CCTV camera head on the end. This camera is manually pushed into the pipe. The technician is able to push the camera around bends and visually inspect the internal condition of the pipe. This method of camera inspection is suitable for pipe diameters between 40mm and 300mm.
A crawler is a camera system on a remotely driven cart which is driven down the pipe line by the operator. The camera head is able to tilt, pan and rotate allowing us to inspective full sucumferance of the pipe.
Crawlers are used on pipes from 150mm to 1000mm
